I preserved mine by parking it in a large concrete parking structure in Coral Gables, FL.

I came here to decide if I should get the matte black VW emblems, but I still can't decide after seeing the pics

It's just always looking good with the current sign or matte black.

You could use plasti dip, and then peal it off if you don't like it

Great shop, they did my clutch back in May. Couldn't recommend them enough. I'd have loved to check out their open house if I lived closer!

Good looking ride too! Similar here, '17 CSG 4-door Sport with 5150 tune. Just got my E40 file, and it's killing me waiting to burn off gas to make room for the ethanol. Hopefully tonight!

Thanks man! Will be heading down to PHP once the clutch starts slipping. Which clutch did you go with?

Jon is putting the finishing touches up on my 93 file and then we will start working on the e30ish tune!

Went with the SRE, it's pretty great. Being unsprung it has just a tiny bit of chatter at idle, barely noticeable except when idling in a garage or right next to a building. It's extremely streetable and holds the power great.

I finally burned off enough gas to make room in the tank for ethanol, so I flashed the E40 file tonight. HOLY BALLS. You're in for a big treat!
