Decat and dpf removal

Hi all

I'm new to the Golf GTD. I always look to get the best performance from any car I have owned, which have all be petrol cars. Will and aftermarket 3in exhaust and remaoval of the dpf make any difference. Or is so little it's not worth spending the money?

It makes a big difference, mostly because you have to re tune to remove either of those and the better flowing exhaust allows lower EGTS, and inturn they can tune the car much more aggressively.

I had a mk6 TDI 2.0 140CR Jetta 6mt that ran the 1/4 mile at 15.0 @100mph. It had rawtek DP and Malone tuning software. A mk7 GTD could easily be faster

Just worries me reading about clutch judder with to much torque. I'm running a manual.

I'd talk to whoever will be tuning the car about that. Tuners always offer a file that's a safe Tq output for the stock clutch
