Yeah I use my rear wiper when it rains, the few pounds you save isn't worth it for me, just don't fill up a couple of gallons instead.

If this is the guy that did the rocket bunny conversion...there's a video on Youtube of him explaining his car got re-ended and that's when he decided to get a new trunk to remove the trunk opening mechanism.
