copied the link but might have been a bad copy paste. I just updated the post above and repasted the links.

First set of logs with my IS20 installed on my Alltrack, also updated to the most recent firmware for the JB4. I also attached a screen shot from the app showing my current settings. Any guidance I could get would be appreciated

3rd log is when I got an EPC code

https://datazap.me/u/tplociniak/18t-is20-jb4-run-2?log=0&data=1-4

https://datazap.me/u/tplociniak/18t-is20-jb4-run-3?log=0&data=1-4

https://datazap.me/u/tplociniak/18t-is20-jb4-epc-light?log=0&data=1-4

You probably had the EPC because you were loading it up in 5th gear. A couple of things. What's your FOL setting? Did you change the 6cyl timing to 1?

You can see those settings in the CSV header if you download and view. FOL is 60 and 6 cylinder is still 0. 3rd log definitely was weird due to EPC. ECU is only requesting 6.x, target was 18, and boost only hit 12.x. I never see the EPC with my 21 PSI tune, but I’m rarely in 5th getting on it like that! LOL. Guess I’m not surprised.

Toledo is correct, FOL is 60 and 6 cylinder was still at 0, what does changing that setting to 1 do?

Your settings seem a bit aggressive from what I know, these are what I used with my IS12, 93 octane, and a drop-in filter, FOL 60 and boost safety set to 19

Are you running is20 or is12? If you still have is12 I would definitely reduce from 4000 on. Try to keep 4000 as maximum. 7000 should not be higher than 12 psi. Maybe you can rise a bit from 2500-4000 and lower from 4000 on. Try to avoid the ign1 dips at 4500 and 5500. Did you have low pressure codes? FOL 70 is cool for afr but I got low pressure warnings all the time. For your setting FOL 55 should work out.

Upping your FOL will lower trims. You will probably need to be at 70 for 93. The 6 cylinder timing needs to be at 1 with the is20. Otherwise you will never get past +10 psi.

That's what kind of freaks me out, what I posted above was less aggressive than what George was telling me to run. Maybe he thinks I have an is20 swap...I'm stock with an inlet running 93.

Thank you for the recommendation, I plugged them in and pulled a log:
https://datazap.me/u/merc/log-1511582511?log=0&data=1-3-4-5-6-11-18-19-23-25-26-27

What exactly are you guys looking at in the logs to see if it's good or bad? I looked the ign 1-4 values and they jump all over, thinking that's not good. I also looked at the my initial boost value and then 1000rpms from it to see if I reached peak boost and I'm not, I remember reading somewhere that I should be at peak around there.

I’m curious if anyone has recommended reading material so I can understand how to read JB4 logs. I grabbed a couple of textbooks and while they’re on the topic of engine tuning it’s going to take me some time to figure out which bits apply.

IS20. I haven't see any codes yet and I scan with obdEleven often. I originally had my FOL at 60 but was advised to make it 70. I just lowered it back to 60 and plugged in the suggested values by tipo. Here's the log - https://datazap.me/u/merc/log-1511582511?log=0&data=1-3-4-5-6-11-18-19-23-25-26-27

i’m running peak 21 psi is12 , with a cts catless dp 94 octane. only mods are dp, bms intake and inlet.

That 94 is magical, that's why. Lol. I couldn't get that on 93. 19 was about the peak. Throw in some e85 though and I could hit over 24
