Numerous errors, engine halting and unhelpful dealer. Mechatronics?

Hi,

I am having trouble diagnosing the problem with my car and would really appreciate your help. Car is a 2014 GTI Mk7 DSG manufactured in Germany.
I am having similar issues to the ones describes in the following post:

I need to confirm if the Mechatronic is the problem as to get a new one ASAP as my dealer is not being helpful at all and I've decided to resolve the issue by myself, then I will inmediately trade in the car.

After about 3 restarts the car is drivable and runs just fine, even with WOT accelerations.

It's under warranty. Contact VW if the dealer is unhelpful.

The dealer is denying the warranty as my car was remapped.
I've heard there was a recall for this gearboxes but I couldn't find anything online.

In that case what should I do?

Commiserations. I'm not interested in tuning, too many downsides, but in your position I would bite the bullet and pay for the repair. If you start buying parts yourself the costs could spiral and you would have no warranty on the repair.

The only inconvenient is that the dealer hasn´t been able to identify the issue and the car has been at their workshop since last tuesday.

Everybody says it should be the mechatronic that has failed (I have NO TCU tune), but I need more info.

I would keep driving until you have more codes. The autoscan list the errors as intermittent and they were not detected after restart. It could be a random hiccup or wiring issue. (Positive thinking)
