My First tracking with the R

I went to the Summit Point Motorsports Park, WV with a few of my buddies yesterday in my R. It was my first time at this main circuit track with the R too. So far I am please with the way it drives but the car does understeer a bit. The only two things I think I will upgrade immediately are the brakes and sway bars. The brakes do get mushy after a few runs.

My stage 1 APR with DSG tune can kind of keeping up with my buddy stock F80 M3.

Doesn't look too bad. I used these Michelin PSS for 2000 miles before the track and I still have 9/32" in the front and 10/32'' in the rear

Very nice I will have to make it to the track next season.

If you need any help looking at brakes or suspension for your car let me know!

We have a good amount of knowledge with this platform.

Thanks,

Alex.

Do you have the DCC on your R? I recently went to Willow Springs for a track day and with DCC set in Race I never felt the car understeering.

Also, I highly recommend getting a clear bra. They're not cheap, but they're worth every penny and you don't have to cover your car with tape when you take it to the track.

I got XPEL and I could not be happier. It is completely invisible and rocks bounce right off the bumper/hood without leaving any sings. I've also noticed that it keeps dust and dirt off the car. Every time I come back home from a track day the part that is covered with the bra is much cleaner than the rest of car.

Yes I have DCC and was using Race mode the whole time. I pushed the car really hard and redline every gear. I got to the point I had to brake a minute earlier  because they weren't responsive. If my brakes were better, I could have kept up my buddy's M3 closer.
