Come to think of it, you may not be able to disable FCW. I'm not sure if it's just the warning that cannot be disabled or if the Autonomous Emergency Braking cannot be disabled. I'm too lazy to read the owner's manual.

IIRC, you need to be on the gas for it to activate.

Today I was taking a ride in my R I was doing about 20-30 MPH and the car started full braking and an Icon apeared on the Screen even tho no cars were infront of me at all. this is the second time this happens Im worried if this happens on the high way and someone rear end's my car. I took a picture of it right away And here is the icon

Good to know, thx!

Mine has gone off and I've thought it was being overly cautious.

Mine also went off backing up while parallel parking which scared the shit out of me. A car waiting behind me, decided to go around while I was parking and the side front sensor must have caught him and it went off.

JJ

That was the rear cross traffic alert.

Auto Hold is for brake assist in hill starts with manual transmission.

And DSG. It also eliminates creep at stops so you can take your foot off the brake.

Embarrassing fact: I'd owned my car for maybe a year before I became aware of the Auto Hold feature. Have come to like it now!
