BMW 528 XI has no damage... I have a small dent in my bumper beside the plate. 2075 miles.

Took about a half-inch of height off the shift stalk today. Very simple mod, and puts the knob at a much more comfortable height.



Used a 1 1/8" pipe cutter, so there was no mess, and took about 5 minutes.



Much happier with it now

Wait ... this clutch has a consistent engagement point and follows my foot?? No way.

Yup - I did the 6MT Wonder Mod today. I was weighing the ECS block, but that one way valve is not worth $120.

Interesting note though - the DIY has you unscrew the valve with a 9mm wrench... in my 2017, that doesn't get access to the restrictor. I had to pull out the cotter pin that holds the valve but, and remove that.
