Running Lights

Ive noticed some mk7s with 4 running lights illuminated where mine just has 2 even though the extra two are there. They just aren't illuminated. I have the lighting package. Can anybody help me understand why some have all 4 illuminated and other don't? 2017

ONLY the R has the 4 illuminated DRL's, unless it has after market lights on and no, there is no way to make the others light up as there is no light source behind the inner "u"

Am I the only Gti owner who prefers the Gti lights with the little stalk inside?

The Golf R headlights have all 4 'u' functional. If your car didn't have the lighting package, you can fit replica headlights that have all 4 functional.

The inner dot only shows when the headlights are on, right?
