Yes, 17x8. Stock height.
235 tires up front, 225 in back. Those cooper zeons have an abundance of grip.
So far I've noticed that it eats up rough road surfaces much better and I've noticed no decrease in steering respons, nose dive, or roll. It's not real glamorous, but functionally I think it's a winner. I'm a fan of the all-business look over the car show trophy winners. Not that I don't enjoy seeing the beautifully modded cars on here.

I got a set of Advan RGIII 18x8 +42, eash rim is about 17.5 lbs. I'm still deciding if I want to go 235/40/R18 or 245/40/R18. Currently on stock suspension but will eventually lower.
Couple reasons. Your front wheels/tires handle almost all of the turning and braking forces. And in our case ALL of the acceleration forces.
Also I wanted to try this setup with a slightly stiffer rear sway bar and see if it affects the understeer at all.
And the tires are bi-directional so I can rotate them from side to side. I know it's a trade off.
I gave up on my endless search for a RWD car that I liked. So might as well make it a monster FWD car!
It's just my ongoing automotive experiment.

That setup looks great and I'm super interested in your tire size experiment. Really wish it was lowered so I could copy the exact sizes since I have no clue what I'm doing with tire sizing/fitment.
going to run these for my dedicated track rims. also wondering if 235/40/18 or 245/40/18. Also on stock suspension with no plans on lowering. the rims come in 18x8.5 +45 or 18x9 +45. any suggestions?
