MAPerformance MK7 Golf Downpipe Development

Hey everyone! I posted some prototype pics of our downpipe in our GTI tuning thread, but I figured now that we are getting closer to the production piece, and that fact that these will also fit the 1.8 that I should probably start a thread for questions at comments.

Here are some of the specs so far:

-Hand fabricated in house using USA made Rath Gibson 304 stainless steel
- HFC and catless options will be available
- V-band test pipe for resonated and non resonated options
- Works with OEM cat back
- Lifetime warranty

I know a lot of people are going to ask about a CEL guarantee. I must say that I do not have that info as of yet, but it is something we are extremely aware of.

Looks good well built, if you can price them competitively they'll sell but there's a lot of options out there

Very true indeed, and a lot of nice options. Goals are to be below most of the equal quality competitors as far as price goes.

Who do you see as your primary competitors?

It's not casted like AMS, so I guess they are in a different ball game. I suppose CTS, Cobb, Unitronic, Billy Boat...
