Yeah it'll defs be called the CC over here. The American mRket wouldnt take well to the name "Arteon"

I like it tho! I think the CC is the best looking car VW has ever made, and my family absolutely LOVES our 2011 base model. It has been our accord. we take all family trips for holidays in it, it gets good mileage, it has a good driving dynamic, and it has been every bit as reliable as a honda accord. Seeing as our CC is now 6.5 years old with 70K miles, i'm sure my dad will go for the new one when it comes out.

Flagship sedan? CC?
I thought the Passat was in USA.
Elongated?
The CC is a small car.
If larger then it is now a Passat.
Why have the Passat and CC the same size?
If CC then I think rear window area is too long.
Makes the back look like the ugly crossover Accord thingy.
CC needs to remain smaller.
Current model, update interior. Add GTI engine and DSG.
Add DCC.
Done!
If not just drop it and sell the Jetta and Passat.
To many to similar.
Bring the VW pickup in place of the CC.

I'm surprised by your thoughts on the matter. In fact when I saw this you were the first person I thought of, because I've seen you talk at lengths about how you would've gotten a CC if it didn't have the previous gen powertrain. We'll see what it's like when it's here. But I, personally, am very excited. I think it looks awesome and I might get it instead of a GTI.

It does look epic. If they offer 4 motion I may be interested down the road as well. I plan on keeping the mk7 for quite awhile though.

I do like the CC.
Just looks like they are going too big.
Also by growing it loses the nice shape a CC has.
I had heard the CC might be dropped.
But one hears too much.
For now I will have my GTI for a good while. The CC does handle bad roads better [emoji51]
