So you guys in the UK are getting ACC as standard?

Here is South Africa we should have it by the end of the month..no idea as to what models and spec we'll get!

UK doesn't get ACC as standard its a £795 option.
If you're looking at the pics & options listed above, by OP, do you mean ADC ?
ADC (Automatic Distance Control) is standard on SE / Comfortline model and on the GT /Highline model in UK.

Le Clue, I hate to be the bearer of the bad news. In SA we are not getting the ADC (even as an option). I saw the options list and it was confirmed by the salesman that its not available. I'm just crossing fingers that it makes it to the Gti which is planned to be launched in June.

Update on new Mk7 GT

Good bits so far:

Adaptive cruise, amazing and a bloody dream in fog, it literally drives the car for you...

Auto park - great at night when its pissing down and you cant see a thing

Driving modes - total shite leave it in normal

Seats - Very comfy but not quite up to the ones in the Mk6 GTi and next time I would probably upgrade to the electric ones for the additional adjustment

Main observation is this is a very, VERY quiet car....!

Bad bits,,

No album art from Ipod 4s, need to find out if possibly Discovery Media needs a update..

Sat Nav - Same issues with all the other ones bar Pioneer, but very quick to reroute when you ignore it and go the right way..!

Needs a button to kill all the interior lighting like the Saabs used to have, sometimes its very nice but in bad weather I would rather do without the backlit door trims, footwell etc and currently theres no quick on/off..

Once the snow is gone I will be able to comment more on driving...
