Just ordered mk7 1.4 SE TSI 122. DSG. always liked the Golf but never owned one . Am I right in thinking this engine/gearbox has come over from the mk6 ?

I think the 1.4 and DSG are a carryover.

The new 1.8T and 2.0T Gen 3 EA888 engines are fairly new.
