Not directly GTI related but I needed some new shoes and figured I’d check out driving shoe options. I’ve always though a rolled heel back would make driving more comfortable (it does!) but so many driving shoes are ugly. Then I found the Piloti Pistones. Nice looking leather sneakers with a rolled heel and a sole that wraps around the sides. Feels more solid for heel toeing and just a great feeling shoe for driving but also just generally a comfortable shoe walking around too.

Not an actual mod, but if you have a tinted windshield, this is a godsend.
Already messed up my tint trying to remove an old sticker. Tint place used to remove for me when needed, but have since moved.

So to prevent further damage, you stick the sticker onto one of these, cut it out and put on windshield. Acts kind of like a screen protector, where by it sticks on, but is still relatively easy to remove.
