Golf VII electric sun blind sunshade, custom sequential turn lights

Hi guys,

Many custom things in my mk7 has been made.
I wanted to show you last two mods

* electric sun blind sunshade,
* cheap sequential lights.

https://youtu.be/LJB2A6kPq2I

Cheap lights means ~55 usd (excl. shipping and time to make the mod)
I wanted to show you that nice tail lights doesn't mean it have to cost hundred or thousands of dollars
Of course it's not as beautiful as 7.5 taillights, but for that cost...

Its not yet complete, I mean it will be all hidden and combined,
a button where pressure sensor set was, will open and close sunshade.

I will show you front turn lights the same sequential, when I will finish it.

----------------------- small update 17.12.17
small step forward with button for sunshade 😊

Best regards,
Condi

In the USA the rear sunshade could be call a lifted truck headlight blocker.
Interesting work. Good for you.

If OP is anything like me, he did it because tinkering is fun. I put a lot of effort into useless electronics I've build around the house. OP sunshade is pretty cool IMO

It wasn't a lot of work.
I would say that it wasn't even work.
It was pleasure
