I have a mk7 1.8t golf with apr stage 1, 3" downpipe and intake. I recently noticed that my clutch slipping. I guess is time for a new clutch, but I haven found many options I only know of the 5GT and 5GTX. Anybody knows of something else? Im planning on doing stage 2 soon, any other suggestions for mods?

Southbend recently released clutches. Check out this thread: http://www.golfmk7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29835

They're probably the better option as they have a bigger reputation in the GTI world and are cheaper. Also, you're running stage 1 with a downpipe? Why not do stage 2, leaving it at stage 1 doesn't seem very smart to me.

I really need to get stage 2, but I need to find a clutch asap. I think the stage 2 endurance would be a good option for my golf.

Let us know which one you got and how it feels!

Thanks and good luck!

I got my new clutch installed last Friday! I got stage 2 endurance by southbed. There is a big difference! the clutch pedal seems a bit softer and shifting gears feels harder. I don't know if this is normal or not.
