I thought the rectangular ones worked for our shifter. I really have no idea and am also very curious.

Does anyone make a metal bracket for the 5mt? I haven't looked at a side by side but I can't imagine they are thaaaat different. I assumed the bushings themselves were interchangeable but maybe that isn't true.

And yes I do believe the round bushings are for the bracket and the squarish ones are for the endlinks.

Ok so here's the deal.

The round (circular) bushings for the side to side will not fit UNLESS you have the metal bracket. There's a little plastic nub at the end and you cannot slide the bushing over without filing it off. The square front to back bushing popped in no problem.

However, I think there is a way to get the bushing to work if you have the plastic relay lever. I think it would be the same procedure with the 42DD bushings as with the 6-Speed, which includes some drilling etc.

I didn't try the bushings for the bracket itself. Didn't have time that day. Plus it looked like a pain to get to lol
