Sorry i think i have posted in the wrong section ( newbie)
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum but have owned many vw's over the years.
My wife drives a 2017 golf R Line with the 7 speed DSG gearbox which we have had since new and has now done 5k miles.
The car has an anoying rattle that you can only hear when driving with the windows down or when the car is driven past you.
I am a subaru mechanic and have checked the car over and all seems ok.
I have been told that it could be the DSG gearbox rattling,
Should a car this new with only 5k miles on the clock sound like this?( It's definitely getting worse)
Also the other day my wife started the car put it in drive and it stalled straight away and in the display said gearbox fault.
Obviously I will take it to the dealer but was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
