Colder heat range spark plugs

I'm still running completely stock plugs, but APR's site recommends stock plugs gaped a bit. We have the same plugs as the GTI so that helps a bit.

General rule of thumb is one heat range cooler for every 100hp you go up in power

Which plug would be correct then? I'm going over 100+ more HP from stock

That's a good deal on the NGK's, I might have to pick up a set.

Got a good video on changing the spark plugs? I am hoping it's easy on this engine... right on top?

Nope, I have no idea how difficult it might be :p. I figure I'm not the first one to do it, and no-one's complained about it that I can remember, so it can't be that hard.

I run the RS7 plugs, about to switch to my second set but they idle much smoother when they're new.

If you shop around you can find them for $50 or less shipped

some Gti owners r having trouble with rs7 plugs like rough idle, any of u guys having problem with rs7 plugs?
