Auto Wipers

I've had my Golf for 18 months now and always had the wiper stalk on the intermittent position to enable the auto wipers but a couple of weeks ago it started playing up. Sometimes when I started the car the wipers went into intermittent mode, not auto. Now the auto function won't work.
When I turn on the ignition the wiper arms are in the correct position for auto / rain sensing, but as soon as I start the engine they move upwards slightly for intermittent mode.

Does anyone have experience of this problem?

You can set it to work either on auto or manual mode, are you sure you've not changed any settings?

Look it up in the manual and it tells you how to set it, you will need to check the way it's set via the screen.

Mine don't work either I ran a scan and it came up incorrect rain sensor position or somethink I have not got much warranty left so I get them to look at my October service. Keep us updated
