Hmmm I looked at 1Z's site, cockpit does have some protectant in it. Didn't know that.
Meguier's Quick Interior Detailer also leaves a nice clean OE look. Matte so to speak. I personally hate glossy trims and dashes. But some like the "pop". It is also only $4.99 retail. It is however free of protectants I think, just a cleaner. I sometimes top it with VRP.303 leave a shinny film.
If you want OE matte then 1Z.
It's my trim and dash protectant of choice. Subtle pop, no slipperiness whatsoever, and it seems to keep the dust off the dash a lot longer than other products I have used. Also, it makes the dash feel almost like it's been waxed. Very silky to the touch. CarPro PERL is good, but a bit too much shine for interior use for my liking, I only use that on tires at 1:2 dilution. That is another thing to keep in mind, PERL can be diluted for multiple uses. I just haven't experimented with diluted mixes of it on my dash, I like VRP too much to care too care lol. It streaks on the touch screen and gauge cluster though, be careful. How does VRP work on the interior? I use it on my tires and the grey side skirts and rear plastic pieces.
I'll try 1Z after this bottle of Meguier's is gone.Meguiar's is fine if you're out of 1Z Cockpit. 1Z I've found works the best, smells the best, and does a perfect job on LCD screens.
I use 303 Upholstery on the carpets and cargo bay cover if there's any mud or whatever.
1Z Cockpit and a nice microfibre.
There is nothing better. At all.
