Installed my GTI rear valance today. Going to be running an open downpipe until tomorrow afternoon when my catback gets here!

Hey, loving the exhaust setup! I'm definitely using your build as inspiration once I get a 1.8! So does the GTI rear valance bolt right in? And afterwards, you would shop exhausts for a GTI?

Yup GTI exhaust bolts right on as well as valance. And thanks I appreciate it!

Quick reply.

Taking a trip to the Denver area this next week for 3 days, 4 nights.

So I purchased a Radar detector I have used in the past and I absolutely love.
Escort Passport 8500 X50.

Straightened license plate for all you OCD people out there

Quick update - Drove the car to Colorado for the weekend and took the Golf down Horsepower Hill (CO-67) and the Golf took it like a beast! Also happy to say my exhaust has broken in nicely after about 1500 miles round trip. Drone at highway speeds is really not bad at all any more less than 85 MPH. Any higher and it gets a little loud. Also glad to report that on the IS20 I have actually been getting better than IS12 MPGs at interstate speeds. Was getting average 31.2 MPG up hill the whole way. The max I saw the whole trip was 38 MPG.

I have a WOT 20-100 video after exhaust break in if anyone is interested in me uploading. Video is from interior.

Also, the radar detector has been working amazing

Quick lazy edit with gunmetal wheels and a rear badge delete.
