My Golf R has a sticker on the back of the interior mirror which states TAG 60. Does anyone know what this means? I wondered if it means that the car was built 60 days into the year. Or perhaps nothing at all.
My vote is for nothing at all, or at least not 60 days into the year. The build date of the car is on the door jamb sticker (in the USA in any case). Many sub assemblies in the car will have build date stickers far ahead of final assembly (46.2016 = 46th week of 2016, 28.02.2016 = 28th day of the 2nd month of 2016 etc).
