Stock P7's?

Is anyone running the stock P7's? I have about 1,200 miles on my GTI (stock) and I tried to test 0-60 (after tires and car were warmed up) and I had considerable screeching and wheel hop. I know I have to change my dogbone but the amount of screeching was terrible. Any ideas? Should I swap tires or will the dogbone be enough?

I have those tires and I can still get wheel hop with a dogbone insert. It takes a little more effort, but it's not difficult to provoke. The last time I tried to launch the car, I got massive spin and hop, but then it dawned on me that my APR tune had the RPM go to 4000 with the pedal held down. I haven't tried it at the reduced throttle position to try a 3000 RPM launch.
