IS38 overboost in 4th?

I keep getting darn over/underboost code in 4th gear. 3rd gear pulls are magnificent but once I get to 4th and hit tripple digits boost dies completely. Like it shuts of.

Any ideas what can cause this? Hardware issue? Tuning issue?
