Bluetooth signal quality - skipping music

I didn't say phone call Audio was 20-20k, my point was exactly that it isn't.

Perhaps the Bose has a bigger playback buffer? I dunno. No, they don't have hardware Bluetooth compression, it's done in software on the CPU, mainly as there are multiple different compression types and bitrates that can be negotiated too.

Reboot fixes it, having a huge performance handset fixes it, and sometimes shutting down all the background services can avoid a reboot.

...if it creaks, it's probably made by VAG

Just came across this thread.

I'd hate to buy a brand new radio and CPU "there is a kit for 2017 cars that will work in 2015" for this stupid Bluetooth issues, skipping/dropping is very annoying. I have iPhone xs max 2015 R. Right now I'm using the MDI cable, it works ok. Just wondering if anyone came up with other ideas?

thanks,

Mike

Never had any issues once I got a fast enough phone. Seems the aerial was never a problem for me, only the processing power on some handsets.
