This is a great build and you have some of the same things I did on my CSG GTI Sport. I'm looking forward to see how the tails come out as those are on my list. One question I have is how are you coding the power mirrors, most 2017s are different than what the coding online shows. I was able to get everything on mine done except closing the mirror on lock option, I also wasn't able to figure out the dip in reverse. How did you go about those?

Can't wait to see more photos.
Dip in reverse worked just fine. I need to play a bit more with it to get the auto fold on lock.

I took some pictures this morning to show y'all! I'm sitting in the parking lot of the clear bra guy right now.

Well, well, well, what have we got here?

What? Break in period? 600 miles?.... welp. A couple good WOT runs with a JB4 shouldn't be too bad for it.

Also, finally got the car out this morning and took some good photos.

Please pardon the fact that the car is a bit filthy- it rained last night right after I got her washed.

Okay, never did get around to resizing those photos - we got sent out again for another month and a half. Ouch.

Installed the front engine cover and Shorty's Short Shifter today. Wow, does that ever make a difference. I had the MAP downpipe with the group-buy/preorder, but we went on deployment again and it got returned. Need to reach out to them to see if I can still order it...

New South Performance boost gauge is supposed to be in Wednesday so I'll take some pictures of installing that.

NSP Boost Guage installed in Aeroforce Vent Pod. Looks pretty good!
I'm not 100% happy with how well the Aeroforce pod's black color matches the other trim, but it's close enough.

Installed the 42DD dogbone insert. All I can say is 'WOW!' That makes a HUGE difference in how it's putting power down- definitely can feel more vibration from a stop but it's not annoying, more just like, 'OH, yeah, it really does make some power!'.

Also having a small problem with one of my DAK reverse LEDs. Need to look into this more but basically it keeps saying it's out, when I go check, the light is working. When I close the hatch, it stops working. Grrr.

For the future upgrades, I'm looking at different ground effect body kits. Front lip/splitter and slightly lower side skirts. I'm still half and half on whether I want to lower the car and how much. On base I have to cross about 15 speed bumps to get to work.

Some more updates:
Fixed the DAK reverse LEDs- turns out it just needed to be reseated 4 or 5 times before it got happy.

Planning on spending the tax return on a CTS Downpipe and ED lowering springs, installed at ED's shop.

Just ordered up some Klii Motorwerkes badge inlays and Badgeskins ABS visor deletes.

And for your viewing enjoyment, some shots from a roadtrip up Highway 1 (the entire way except for closed sections!) with my brother I did over the holidays. Went from the southern US border all the way to the northern US border. Nearly 4000 more miles on my poor car! Performed absolutely flawlessly.

Also, I got a little gift from my older brother for Christmas....

Some ideas for exterior trim elements, not sure what is actually going to wind up being ordered, but;

Big raven sticker would go on the sunshade, I think that'd look pretty cool!
Small red raven 'might' go on rear quarter window, same with VW Speed. (opposite sides)

Considering the windshield sunscreen/Volkswagen Racing. Thoughts?

Driver stripes.... I'm 50/50 on these. I think they might look good or they might be too much.
