Dash Cam Rain Sensor Power Tap?

I tried searching for an existing thread on this topic but couldn't find one.

I am trying to find someone who has successfully done this on an MK7. I don't want to wire it all the way to the fuse box if i can just tap into the Rain Sensor wires that already lead to the fuse box.

Just a heads up... that YouTube video is for a dash cam install on a Mk5 Ford Mondeo (2014-Present), not a Mk5 Golf/GTI... I pulled the cover off of my Mk7.5 and it's similar to what's in the video, but I doubt that the wiring will be the same.
