O2 sensor upstream failure - stock

Job took two seconds. I soaked in PB blaster three times over night and came out easy. Couldn't find torque specs anywhereee but I went with I think an mk5 O2 sensor spec of 37ft lbs so...fingers crossed. Would love if someone could tell me exact spec. Cel went away at engine start of the second drive post fix.

For anybody who needs to remove this sensor in the future, a 7/8" (.875") sensor remover socket works perfect as well in place of the 22mm (.866") socket. Arbor freight has them for cheap!!!

Just did this and fixed the check engine light! P0135 code.

I soaked it w PB Blaster a few days in a row - on a cool engine, couple hours before driving.

This tool from Rock Auto and a good 6in extension made it a quick job. Replaced it w Bosch 17080.
