Extended warranty

Hi my one year used car warranty from main dealer is about to expire.they have offered me another year extended warranty, all component,no excess for £215.has anybody taken one?,seems reasonably priced and i know it really just an insurance policy in disguise but,
does a golf have a decent reliability record going into it's fourth year as long as it's looked after or would i be better holding onto my money and keep my fingers crossed.

I didn't for my GTI or any other car I have owned, it is just a gamble you take. Over the years I have saved thousands by not giving them my money.

£215 seems very reasonable. What's that, about 2 hours labour should it need to go in to get something done?
