16" VW OEM Steelies & General Altimax Arctic 215/60/16

Had these on my Passat lease for 2 mild winters. Then I traded the car in.

VW OEM Steel wheels (5x112 16x6.5) were purchased brand new along with the General Altimax Arctic winter tires (215/60/16). Tires have even wear and zero plugs. The drops you see on the wheels is rain. I took pictures during rain.

$375

How well did those tires do in the winter? How were they when there was no snow on the ground?

IMO best winter tire around for the money. As for no snow conditions, they drove like a much softer all season tire. We have four sets of these on the family cars, and I'm currently running a set on the GTI this winter as well.
