I got news of these from another topic. Some company in Korea has made tail lights for the Mk7 with sequential indicators. Does anyone know if they are available within the EU? I don't like buying those kind of things from the other side of the world. :)

If you don't know what I mean, check the ebay link below.

Why taking any risk when you could easily pick them up at any German dealership
near you, where they are 519 € incl. tax while you will easily get some discount on
them and there's not shipping?

Obviously you need to make them "work" somehow, as they're designed for the
facelifted Golf. Sequential indicators require some kind of ECU. Probably easiest
to retrofit the newest one.

I'm semi sure I have seen posts that the OEM ones are programmable to do sequence indication if that's your thing, and certainly cheaper and less time consuming than buying new units.

So, is that the part number for the face lift version?

I will stick with my Kencha indicators as many newer cars have the sequential and they will soon be regarded as the normal, the Kencha style are different.:D

I heard that the turn signals are really dim on the replicas with sequential turn signals. They look good in dark lighting but in the sun they are apparently hard to see. Just something to keep in mind.

Interesting... Did not see that. Now, when I saw the facelift golf, the rear lights def. looked different.. I am not sure if I like the new lights, thats why I wanted to see if I could find something like it with the old tail light style. I will not have an issue with going to a dealership and get these, OEM quality is of course the best. Thanks for your links, very useful. :)

I fully second that. The new facelift taillights are nice, but I still love the
pre-facelift taillights more. Perhaps it's a question of time. Virtually any
change on the Golf's styling took some time to grow on me. :D

Yes, of course, since there are no original Volkswagen non-facelift taillights
with sequential indicators out there.

Didn't even like the interior in the start but it def. grew on me and I got one in the end. :)
