Switched out the stock reverse bulb for the deAutoKey LED bulbs in my Euro/LED Tails prior to installing a while back. Great product and looks so much better!
Thanks for sharing the links. Photos/videos does not do the brake/tail turn justice.
-more vivid red
-brighter than stock
-will light up more of the housing with a more solid red color giving the cleaner LED look vs spotty halogen
They also have a great contrast between brake/tails meaning when you activate the brake you can see it against the tails which is a common issue with many LEDs out there.
These dissipate heat well so they last
Resistor setup allows them to last without going out
Anyone who tried other LEDs for the brake/tails know a lot of small issues can arise from using an LED that were meant for halogens but we have many of the issues handled. If you do have any issues we have a Lifetime Warranty so no worries - buy with confidence.

I wasnt exactly sure where to post this but I guess this thread will do....
So I purchased/installed the deautokey license plate LEDs about 2 months ago. Initially I didnt have any issues with a bulb out warning light, but now Im experiencing an intermittent light. About every 5th or 6th time I start my car and the lights are on I get the warning indicator for "check license plate bulb". If I immediately shut the car off and then back on again, it goes away. Btw I checked both bulbs / housings / resistors and everything looks as good as the day I installed them. Its not a huge issue, but is anyone else experiencing this intermittent error?

I just wanted to give a quick update.... Ironically after posting above on the intermittent bulb out light I was getting, the car stopped triggering the fault. It's funny how things work out sometimes

after changing the tails with the LED kit it shows "reverse light error"

I've been running the reverse lights for a few months now, love 'em they're so much brighter than the OEM bulbs. Installed their red LED footwell lights yesterday and they look really good too.

On some MK6 GTIs when you installed the reverse LEDs the radio would cut out every time you go into reverse. They had the radio antenna somewhere in the rear window and it would create interference. Do you have that problem, where is the radio antenna installed on these cars?

I have the LED taillight bulbs and there is no interference issues with local radio stations.
