Infotainment freezing

Infotainment system freezing
I've just bought my 2013 2.0tdi se and have noticed when I drive it the screen is unresponsive. I.e. If I want to change driving mode I press the main switch but when I try to select via the LCD screen it is unresponsive. I also cannot change the radio channel or anything that requires touch screen access. I got a traffic announcement and after that everything appeared to work on the screen, touch worked fine.

Anyone had a similar experience could it be a firmware issue? Dow anyone know what the latest firmware number is as well please

People have had these issues and it seems an update has fixed most. You have to go to dealer to update though.

Check this thread for version number. Not sure if these are universal or UK is different, but you can check with your dealer.
