Auto dimming rear view mirror question

I have a 17 Autobahn GTI with rain sensing wipers, I would like to have an auto dimming rear view mirror with homelink. Dealer service department says can’t be done, I can’t believe that VW doesn’t make a homelink mirror for my car, and think service department just didn’t want to do research. Anyone here know the part number?

BS. I asked for that as part of the sale, and they did it.

There are many part numbers for the Homelink mirror; one of them is for the rain-sensing wiper setup.

vw.com is your friend. Look at accessories.

You're right--the service department wanted you to go away. They're morons.

And if you'll look on Youtube, you'll see how easy it is to install yourself.

It's probably part 000072548B or 000072548F, but check to make sure.

I know for a fact it's not 000072548E.

Your parts guy is an idiot.

I would go get my sales contract to check, but it's out in the car.
