PFS is extremely close to launching. They wanted to get all the products in stock ready to ship before dropping the site live. You have torture tested it commendably but how will it perform in its, possibly, most common configuration?
As a pre-orderer that is still holding on, one question I have is: How does the VTT stage 2 perform as it is sold on your website? That is, with the PFS LPFP, UM tune, and 91 octane?
Speaking of the PFS LPFP, any updates on it? There is still no website for PFS.
thanks
As for the turbo needed supporting mods, a turbo does not care what fuel you have in the car, what fuel pump is on the car, what tune is on the car, etc, etc. A turbo does one thing, it gets spun by the exhaust, and it moves compressed air into the motor. That is its only purpose, a larger turbo, can move larger amounts of air into the motor. If you wanted to to try to run 30 psi, on 91 octane with a single LPFP, the turbo would be happy to do so. It also would not care that you would be looking at a blown motor in short order. This is one of the most frustrating things about people saying "a turbo needs X upgrades to work properly" It actually does not, it will work without them, you upgrade your fuel system, and other parts so you can SAFELY make the extra power without blowing up your motor. We suggest you run these upgrades because we want to see you make more power safely.
If you ran the car on 91 only, and stock pump, it would 100% make more power than a stock turbo up to the point of running out of fuel, at that time it would become unsafe. It's your tuners responsibility to find that limit.
