Alloy Wheel Repair

Anyone know of or used a rim repair shop somewhere south of Boston / north of Providence?

Apparently, VW Nogaro rims aren't the strongest and I've already bent 3 out of 4. (I verified this myself by running a dial indicator along the inside of the rim and saw sections that were out of round by more than 1/8")

I was given the name Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists in Quincy (moving to Randolph) but was wondering if anyone has experience with them or another shop?

I've always bought the wheet/tire package from the dealer so never really knew who was doing it. But the repairs were always pretty good (I never noticed the repair.) or they just replaced the wheel outright.

I've heard good things about AWRS in the past - but the commute was always... problematic. : )

Along with detailers - wheel repair in Mass is pretty tough to find. Google does not yield much.

Thanks Lauren, if I knew these rims were made of butter, I would have gotten the package as well.

I found a place on Route 1 that takes care of the majority of the dealers on the Auto Mile so we’ll see how they do.

Thanks for the warning. I was going to buy a used set of Nogaros to use as a winter set.

Yes, it's unfortunate. I love the look of them.

I had mine straightened and they feel great now. I'm going to have to be more careful!
