I've got my car in a shop to replace my rear bumper, got my VW Carnet enabled, so I can pretty much see everything they do to the car (got speed set to notify me as soon as the car goes over 1mph).
Which brings me to these questions:
1. How hard is it to disable Carnet?
2. Would somebody be able to move my Carnet to another car or just have it run on a battery? (so they can do whatever to my car without me noticing? )
3. Also heard about devices which would enable people to alter the odometer, are those out there for VW as well?
And yes, I will install a front and rear dashcam before I take it anywhere out of my sight again...
