MK7.5 Bumper chrome stripe delete

Recently i just took some pics of my mk7.5 golf and I am thinking of wrapping the chrome stripe/delete to make the car have a different looking

There's a gap between the chrome stripe and the bumper grille, is there anything that can be used to fill in the gap?

If you wrap it in black, I'd think it could blend in just fine with the rest of the black plastic grill.

I'm all for deleting/"hiding" that chrome strip. It makes the car look like it's wearing a retainer...

wraping the chrome stripe only will just make the car became a Trendline
Therefore I am thinking of a way that could fill in the space between them (refer to the red circle)

i have a trendline and it's still chrome.

I think i will wrap mine, but i got a black golf so it might be slickier.
