Adding Red Accents to diffuser/sideskirts

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me figure out a way to add some semi-permanent red accents to my gti diffuser and side skirts.

Already tried some pinstrips (pictured), but doesn't seem to hold very well.



Any ideas?
Edit: Worth saying I did clean the diffuser first with alcohol so dirt isn't the issue

I think the problem you're going to find with trying to put any semi-permanent line there is that the textured plastic just isn't going to stick to it. If you really want it I think the only way would be to paint it on.

Try another brand of pinstripe tape that sticks better? I have a stripe running horizontally between the tail pipes and its been firmly on there for about a year. Although this location is probably better protected from sun, moisture and wind. How long did it stick on for?

^I like that. All the way around the car would be too much for me I think.

Edit: to OP... try buying 3M adhesive promoter from Amazon. It's specifically designed to help any type of stickers to adhere to plastic better. I've used it before and it makes a big difference.
