7 tails are a bit lower than that. Euro spec GTI Cherry runs $600 usd w/ adapter harness from BEC. Tinted R/R-line around $700 usd w/ adapters from BEC.
Not sure how much facelift top trim 7.5 taillights with all required adapters for non-ROW models costs.

Right, hence why I said BEC since they sell them for $600-700 along with their own aftermarket harness (which are as close to OEM features as possible, outer lights only when braking etc.). These are Euro spec LED's. They have the chinese cherry red as option as well, but the 2 euro ones are legit. I have the GTI euro cherry set myself.

Honestly they could be had for cheaper if you lurk around ebay.de or carsystem.pl (500 euro for tinted r-line).

I found oem tail on eBay for much cheaper 524$ shipped from Germany plus the harness for 115$ shipped that comes to 639$ all together for the 7 tails. Also found some 7 tails with full sequential turning signal for 719$ shipped plus harness it comes to 834$ for those ones !

I am interested depending on price I need Right Hand Drive though I have the Performance Pack edition which comes with LED's. I also want Dynamic Indicators. Coding is fine with does not need to be plug and play as long as I have instructions.

Those are the bright red Chinese LED Tail lights, and at that price those would be replicas, unless they are happy to make less than $2 profit on them.
For the price it is OK, but they certainly are not the GTI or R tail lights.
