Oh, you thought you wanted to be a drift master? Well, first you have to learn how to drive stick shift, which feels a lot like being thrown into the middle of a death metal music video, as it turns out.

YouTuber Riffshop posted a video of how to drive stick shift, explained with death metal. Complete with the constant screams of "STALL!", the video pretty accurately encapsulates the angst behind figuring out what the fuck to do with that clutch pedal (because, after all, you're not hardcore if your clutch pedal isn't to the floor).

I tried teaching my girlfriend to drive stick, sending this to her.

Only one of my three daughters (the youngest one) knows how to shift — I'm NOT sending this to the other two. Mainly because of how it ends. Of course, she's also the one who had the front-end torn off her Passat.
