After many months of research and debating, I decided to flash the car with the Power Tap tool from Eurodyne. At first, I had issues with all three of the files (89 octane, 91 octane, and 93 octane) at WOT. The EDC light would illuminate and could not be reset until I cycled the ignition. I emailed Eurodyne and after a few days, the files were fixed. I have not had a problem since and the car pulls like a freight train compared to stock. Also, the Power Tap tool can be used to reprogram other modules of the car if you can decipher the long codes. I just changed the stability control to the options of a GTI (Sport, ESC ON, and ESC OFF). I am very pleased with the results and excellent service by Eurodyne.
