LED Tail lights - Inner lights on coming home

Gents, i've recently installed the LED rear lights and i've attempted to VCDS mod to keep the inner lights on when coming home;

Central electronics - adaptation channel:

Leuchte27NSL RC6-Lichtfunktion B 27 from not active to Parklicht rechts

This doesn't seem to work, has anybody successfully done this mod?

have also tried setting this value to 'coming home oder leaving home aktiv' but still doesnt work.

Its probably because they weren't factory fitted.

here are the instructions I used:

• Go to [09] Central Electronics
• Go to Security Access and enter 31347
• Go to Adaptation
  • Look for the German text "Leuchte27NSL RC6-Lichtfunktion B 27"
  • Set the new value drop down from "non active" to "Parklicht rechts"
• Click 'Do It!'

The instructions above for me were slightly different as "Parklicht rechts" wasn't there but it was either Parklicht right or just right (I can't quite recall) but it does work.

Put original bulbs back in then try again to make sure that is not the cause.

That said, I bet it is the coding and not the bulb.

I tried this coding before I fitted the LED rear lights and it didn't work.

Can anybody with a non gtd GTI confirm if this coding works and keeps the inner tail lights on when locking the car at night and coming home lights?

finally cracked this tonight.

My car didn't come with the LED rears, i have retrofitted these so i believe the normal method to activate the inner lights on coming home does not apply to my car.

The following has worked for me.

I forgot to take note of the actual words but you get the idea;

Go to Central Electronics

Security Access - 31347

Adaptation - 10

Go to leuchte23sl hlc10 - funktion D

Set to parklicht link (parking light left)

leuchte23sl hlc10 dimmwert

Set to 28 (same as the outer lights)

Go to leuchte24sl hra65 - funktion D

Set to parkling light right (parking light right)

leuchte24sl hra65 dimmwert

Set to 28 (same as the outer lights)

Having just had my Golf R LED tail lights coded to my Golf GT by a VW dealership, I was quote surprised to find that my inner lights also did not activate when coming home ran.

The following worked for me and I used ODBeleven:
