Airbags in seats

Hi,

I want to replace my fabric seats in my Golf TDI with standard leather seats (from GTI).

Does anyone has the technical documenation on how to build in the seat airbags?

Won't they already be in there? I would think it's just a matter of having the same plug.

So long as the airbag plugs are the same it should be a direct swap.
