Tech tip, the emergency exit rows always have thinner seat cushions and if there's two in a row the front one won't recline! Save the money and get up to stretch vs that extra 6" of leg room. Your back an arse will thank you

Yeah I know about the thinner cushion. That doesn't bother me as much as not being able to straighten my knees out.

It's lose lose really. I fly standby for free and used to fly twice a week for my commute. After a few trips with no recline I always made sure to speak up and request no exit row please, because that's usually an unsold seat
