Hey guys, just wondering if any of you fellas that live in the roc/syr/buff area have a stage 2 enduro, or stage 3 daily clutch from SBC. Im in the market to upgrade, and I've done the research and narrowed it down between these two. Ive felt the pedal of an mk6 R with the stage 3, but didn't drive it and I'm pretty sure that was a version before they "redesigned" them. I'm really just interested in meeting up somewhere so I can hear how it sounds in person on a 7 and see if it's worth the investment. I know both with make some noise, but I've heard/read that the enduros tend to make alot more noise compared to the daily versions. I'd like to see for myself haha thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out!

We never heard what "upstate" means. Most NYer's consider anything outside NYC to be "upstate". I say north of Syracuse.

So funny thing I have the SACHS SRE Stage 2, uses the DMF and its fantastic. Holds all the power I need (350whp, 390Tq) and its not loud at all. Next year I may try the 4 puck racing version. (syracuse)

Haha I take upstate to mean from anything above oneonta. CNY gets to be a bit more specific.

Are you just running the jb1 or is it stacked with anything? I'm planning on going fbo stg2, and kinda want a one-and-done clutch. I do go to the track a few times a year, mainly for drags, but I also carve corners like a turkey knife on Thanksgiving haha I'm not sure if even replaceing the dmf is worth it with the amount of abuse that she sees.

hehe FBO stage 2+ I haven't updated my mods in the bottom in a while. I've done almost everything power wise and my stock clutch was dead at 28k including the DMF. FOr me it was worth it to put in a new one and whole system. I didn't car for "chatter" or the prices for the new units. Paying 1300+ for a clutch seems stupid to me, like paying 3k for a turbo.

I really like the sachs unit if you are interested in learning more or from where I sourced mine, shoot me a message!

The Glen just keeps getting better with the millions that Corning Glass is pouring into it. It's outrageous IMNHO that F1 isn't racing there once a year. I guess the gold chain crowd must want casinos where they can lose their money at night... ;)

The gold chain crowd prefers places like Miami and other metro locales as the racing is just an excuse for a party. Most couldn't care less about the racing.
