Resonator delete DSG fart/lag issue

Hi all,

I had my resonator deleted for a straight pipe on my stock Golf R 2016 with DSG. The sound is great and love the feel of the DSG farts.

On hard pulls in sport I notice a lag during shifts, as if pressure somehow builds and releases. During launch no such issue but then also no farts

Anybody any ideas?

I doubt there is anything wrong, the res delete just makes it more audible. No dsg flatulence when using launch control for me either.

I’m doing the DSG tune and just received my OEM Res delete yesterday. So I may want to hear the res delete after the DSG install.

Dont get me wrong, I love this new sound and find a perfect balance so no need to spend a lot of cash on a aftermarket exhaust. Im just find the lag/pause between shifts a bit too long... If i dont floor it or manually shift just before 6000 rpm, the lag is not there and just sweet DSG 'flatulence' and horse power. Man i love this machine!

Anybody knows if dogbones or engine mounts will make this feeling worse?
