2016 GTI S with Neuspeed RSe10s in hyper black
Are those 18x8.5 or 18x8? If they are 18x8.5, are you running 235/40-18 tires?
The RSe10s are 18x8. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. They are 245 40, the only 18 inch size available at the time.
I kept delaying buying thinking they'd be too wide, but it actually works out fine for my casual/sporty purposes. The Tire Rack measurements have this tire being narrower relative to the tire it succeeds, the Pilot Sport.
I could have kept nitpicking it for ages, but I'm glad I went ahead with them and had an enjoyable summer and fall. The wheels and tires made a big difference over stock Austins and all-season Continentals.
Just yesterday I switched out the Neuspeed/Michelins for the Austins and the colder days ahead. Sad to see the summer wheels gone for the season -- they were so much fun.
